I finally went through my various galleries and folders and made a fursuit compilation that goes from the very beginning (2005) to the end of 2009.

It was very interesting for me as well to have the work and years I had forgotten put graphically into order.

So, Trip apparently has a cell phone that never gets used because Lisa (project coordinator) has a better phone so she routed office calls to her phone instead; however, the project has been paying for it this whole time, so we decided to reinstate it as Tripwire, a text messaging-based harm reduction service. Which means

I HAVE TWO CELL PHONES OMG AND I'M AN ON-CALL WORKER LOLOLOLOL

This amuses me.

Not because of presents (I am capable of buying myself what I want). Not because of family (I can see them anytime. And I do!). And not even because of friends (If I'm only worrying about them once a year then I have bigger issues).

I like it because it's an excuse and a reason to do things for people and they do things for you - no strings attached.

There is no confusion or concern and no picking one friend over another. You do not have to be diplomatic over who you give a gift to. if someone needs it, you give it! Simple! If they do not need anything then you can both give a gift to someone who does and be happy together.

"This is a great thing you did for me! But why? What do you want back in return?" *suspicion*
"It's Christmas!"
"So it is!" *JOY*

Happy Holidays & Merry Christmas

  • Dec. 23rd, 2009 at 11:41 PM
I just wanted to wish everyone a good time and a happy new year.

I'm a little under the weather right now so I haven't been out of the house. I really wanted to make the Montreal Furry Christmas thing but I just haven't been feeling right this past week.

So much to talk about, so much to tell. If I had wishes one would be to be with my Bearz in Australia. I miss him. I miss that kinda love. I hope his x-mas is good. And I hope he's not to sad that I couldn't be there. Getting a work visa for over there seems to be harder then I expected. That and I'm not to bright when it comes to government red tape. I'm sure I'll find a way soon where I can go and stay there.

Second wish, to turn back time and do everything right from the start. I wish I knew then what I know now. I could stack the deck, so to speak.

Third, a wish for hope, for everyone. I don't see to much of it around these days. Ya, hope, and maybe some good advice and guidance.

Anyways, Merry Whatever it is you do and I "hope" this next year is good to all of you. I mean that.

Take Care

Holiday debuggery

We know there were a few kinks with the holiday promotion. We've been working very hard to get them ironed out. If you have a paid/permanent account, keep on sending those coupons. Here's an update:

  • If you were unable to send out multiple coupons at a time, please perform a hard refresh, and you should be good to go.
  • If you redeemed a coupon to upgrade your account and the balance at checkout was $0 instead of $9.95 or $15, this means your upgrade did not go through (nor were you charged). We've straightened this out, so you can now apply your holiday coupon toward the purchase of an annual paid account.
  • If you tried to redeem a holiday coupon and had trouble using a gift certificate to cover the balance of an annual paid account, we identified the root problem. If this happened to you, you can now use your holiday coupon together with your gift certificate.
  • If the number of holiday coupons you have available suddenly goes up (instead of down), this might be due to recipients declining the coupons, at which point your pool of available coupons will be replenished and, therefore, increase.
  • If you need assistance with holiday coupons or pretty much anything else (well, LiveJournal related), please open a support request and we'll be more than happy to help!

Tweaks

  • There were some initial glitches displaying results on My Guests, but we've worked them out. We hope you'll check out who's been checking you out!
  • Some of you reported formatting issues using the Rich Text Editor (i.e., line breaks were being removed incorrectly). We've implemented a fix! Thanks so much for your patience.

Give a little extra!

We're pleased to report that we've already sold over 100 virtual red ribbons in honor of National AIDS Awareness month. Remember, for each charitable vgift you purchase for $2.99, we'll donate 100 percent of gross proceeds to IAVI.org (the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative) to fund the development of an HIV vaccine. Once again, we thank you for your generosity.

Celebrate with holiday vGifts!

Stop by the Virtual Gift Shop and share some holiday magic with your LiveJournal friends.

Photos of the week

We're back with more dazzling pictures from around the world. Congrats to [info]marlenemcc, who has been awarded a virtual blue ribbon as the winner of our fourth photo contest. We hope you'll click over to LJ_Photophile poll and tell us your picks in pics!

Curtains

Thanks, again, for reading. Here's wishing you the very merriest of holidays. We'll see you next year!
